10 lessons learned in 10 years of One Branding

A decade ago, One Branding began its journey with a dream: to transform brands and create authentic connections. Like every great story, our journey is full of challenges, achievements and learning. Each project, each client and each challenge helped us evolve, and now, as we look back over all these years, we reflect on the lessons that shaped our essence. All our gratitude to our dear clients, partners and collaborators.

There were so many lessons learned that, honestly, curating this checklist was no easy task. Today, we share 10 great lessons that helped shape our journey:


1. It has to be done well. And first time.

The impact of time makes all the difference in the overall experience of a creative service. That's why we will always be critical and demanding. We understand the simple as sophisticated, which is why we speak in depth but clearly. We are simple: we only like the best. Modesty stayed home and will be back soon.


2. What makes life enjoyable is contrast: you have to say it and make it happen.

We know the theory well, but we are hands-on people. It's just that blah blah blah makes us itch. We are the kind of people who put an X on our chest and say: “Go ahead, let me do it.” Objectivity makes the wheel of life turn. And we didn't come into this world for a walk. What we really want is to make a positive impact, to be "bold or italic, never regular".


3. Life happens in cycles, but what the memory loves, stays forever.

Sometimes, the time comes to leave. It is very genuine to understand and accept cycles that end, but they are the ones that make room for the new. As we learned from Dame Stephanie Shirley: Changes, even if terrifying, are not synonymous with catastrophe. Just because a cycle ends doesn't mean it didn't work out. The positive impact remains.


4. The fabric that weaves our matter is immaterial. We're dream makers.

We work with emotions and sensations. No software, no machines. We must always use sensitivity as our main work tool. Our greatest achievement is to make dreams come true.


5. Creative processes are like a bird with a flight plan, but it doesn't fly in a straight line.

And that's okay. We respect the time and discovery processes in branding developments, which are balanced with schedules and processes in symbiosis with social media.


6. Relationships - they are what make everything worthwhile.

We are driven by affection - our favorite place in the world is the hearts of our people, those who have truly crossed our path, even if it is virtual. Real relationships. They are the ones who, when they cross our path, take a little of us and leave a little of themselves.


7. We are all One.

Without a team, a company is nothing. Organizational culture is as important as the work itself. We value unity and collective effort.


8. Balancing work with quality of life is essential.

But a little anxiety doesn't hurt anyone. It's that sense of responsibility and urgency that avoids problems and keeps everything running smoothly and peacefully.


9. Authenticity and personal integrity go beyond the professional field.

People will be in their professional lives what they are in their personal lives. You can no longer pretend to be someone you are not. Brands and people that are not genuine are not credible. Being transparent and authentic in communication builds trust and loyalty. This means showing what goes on behind the scenes, admitting mistakes and celebrating victories sincerely.


10. About Innovation - Companies that go bankrupt are not necessarily those that did something wrong. They are those that did it right for a long time, without reinventing themselves.


Constant innovation is necessary to stand out in a sea of ​​information and competition. This can mean trying out new formats, processes, investing in the consumer experience or adopting emerging technologies, such as augmented reality or artificial intelligence. Creativity is a necessity for survival in the business world. To this end, we always advise our clients to maintain a budget line for investments in R&D (research and development).


Among many others, we reflect on these lessons with immense gratitude. Each lesson has shaped our values ​​here at One, helping us to grow. Each stage of this journey was written with dedication and passion.
