CONVERSE

Launched in 1908 by Marquis Mills as 'Converse Rubber Shoe Company', the company specialized in rubber-soled footwear for men, women and children. In 1910, Converse began manufacturing shoes for everyday use, and in 1915 the company shifted its focus to creating athletic shoes.
